STARTING 10-21-18 for WINTER.  If Prince William County schools are closed due to weather-etc., then no practice either.   GYM:  TBD ***** Dumfries VA            Wrestlers are expected to be gym-dressed with wrestling shoes & head gear and ready to start at 6:30.  Warm-up and pre exercise IS part of training.  Parents are encouraged to participate in practice, help your child listen, learn and understand the moves so they can practice at home.   Classes will be divided into beginners and advanced.   PWWC Schedules that Wrestlers will be shown a move and how to escape from it each practice.  All wrestlers and coaches must be registered with USAWrestling.  USAWMembership.com

NVWF = Northern Virginia Wrestling Federation, is Individually based.  Each week, one is weighed in, and you wrestle that weight for the meet that day.  Our first wrestling meet will be early December .   PWWC is our code and we will meet on Sunday each week until finals in February/March.  Each must have attended and wrestled at least half  + one of the meets to be eligible for the finals and medals.  We will pass along the information as we get it from the Northern Virginia Wrestling Federation.  Visit their web site       NVWF.NET

We will be having a parents’ meeting to help answer any questions and to sign up volunteers. Every wrestler 's Parent IS  expected to volunteer.  We need club coaches to help at practices (see USAWMembership.com for background check and SafeSport Certification), we also need coaches to help at the meets each week which requires a background check by USA Wrestling, SafeSport Certificate and  LEADER's card.  NVWF CLASSES are:  Basically, but will vary to insure equal numbers in each class

The middle three classes can "wrestle up" to the next class for extra mat time. PWWC provide LOANED team singlets to competitors. WE WILL PROVIDE TRAINING TO EVERYONE.  If you compete with NVWF or not. Some come to us just for the learning and training and take this experience back to their own school team season. Some use us as home schooled PE.
